I have an EM9191 installed in a usb3 enclosure, and running on Windows 10. I installed the drivers from Sierra's website for this particular modem, and now Windows recognizes the modem and I am connected.
But I need to be able to connect to the COM port and send AT commands. I cannot seem to find the right driver(s) that I need to do that.
Any suggestions?

Re: Sierra EM9191 AT drivers
nothing, in fact that is my problem. when i use putty to connect to the com port, i get nothing
was hoping someone knew how to get this working so i CAN send some AT commands!
Re: Sierra EM9191 AT drivers
ok, found the issue. I kept trying to connect via the DM port, not realizing there was another item in device manager for the WWAN (listed under "Modem" and not "Ports"). Duh. After connecting to com6 (wwan) instead of com1 (DM port), it worked. But I had to use ATE1 to get it to echo commands.
Newbie mistake but glad I got it working!
