Hello all
I'm still working through various issues with my wg 3625/7455. (New mimo antenna LTWFIX 15dbi - tower about 4 miles- not direct line of sight - one mountain in the way)
Download is acceptable given my cell phone has almost nothing. However, upload speeds crawl (.2 Mbps) See AT!GSTATUS? below
Latest LTWFix firmware (NEXP1go)
Looking for ideas how I might improve upload speeds with the WG3625. (Firmware, settings, etc). Previous setup was a netgear lb1121. It had much better upload with much less of an antennas.
I realize there are so many things that can affect performance. Small hope that I'm missing something simple to fix it.
On occasion, using speed test, my upload will spike, but then drop to a fraction of a Mb. This might be an anomaly but found it interesting. Almost as if the carrier throttled be down. Thanks in advance for suggestions.
Periodically I will jump between B2, B4 and B12. Upload is similar regardless.
Aggregation only happens sometimes. I have yet to figure out why that is.

Re: WG3526 mc7455 slow upload speed
Download is the tower sending to you. Upload is you sending to the tower. What bands you run on will definitely affect this. So will types ad pointing of antenna setups. If I run on Band 12 only by not using my outdoor antenna I get about 3-12mbs down and 5-6mbs up. When connected to the antenna I generally get Band 66 and some CA with Band 2 which produces about 30-50mbs down and only .5 to 1.2mbs up.
Re: WG3526 mc7455 slow upload speed
That makes sense and consistent with what I have seen. As this is a remote setup that I use to upload security camera feeds and pictures, solid upload speeds are very important to me. Other than randomly trying different bands, is there a way to tell the modem to prioritize based on upload signal strength? It almost seems a better (more dbi gain) antenna hurt me for upload speed. Didn't plan on that.
Re: WG3526 mc7455 slow upload speed
Supplied antennas only made things worse. Download is ridiculously slow. The netgear lb1121 (with the same sim band connection) consistently had better upload speeds (but not download).
Seems my issue will need more trial and error to figure it out. There is something unique that I do not believe is completely associated with a signal issue that is affecting the upload. I should be able to get in the low single digit Mb/s.

Re: WG3526 mc7455 slow upload speed
I just switched to a Netgear Mr1100 this weekend and my upload speed went up major time. So it is possible that it is not a signal issue like you mentioned but perhaps the Sierra modem and its interaction with the WG3526.
