Quectel Modem Flash Tool V5.1
This is the latest firmware flash tools that I know of for Quectel modems:
https://thewirelesshaven.com/quectel-mo ... tutorials/
Install the drivers, then reboot.
Plug your modem into your computer via USB adapter, and give it time to load up the drivers for it and recognize/assign all ports.
Run the Qflash app and select the proper port for the modems DM port. (Device Manager for Windows, or get the Huawei modem terminal)
Choose the firmware file that you need.
Flash away.

You have to really scrutinize the file path for spaces. It can be tricky. You can also just place the firmware folder on the root folder of your hard drive.
Re: Quectel Modem Flash Tool V5.1
ok Had to move it to c: and out of user folder to work.
After I use qflash v5.1.... I get a "PASS". The modem has issues being recognized at dev/ttyUSB2. Can't open sometimes..
Is this from a bad firmware upload?
Suggestions?...Not sure what is occurring?
EM160R-GL with version "09" in a WG1608v4

Shouldnt be a problem, but you may want to load back to the A07 BETA version just in case.
