WG3526 IMEI

Post by vnmb13 »

I recently set up a WG3526, but I have a AT&T sim card. I read that it can get locked if I try to use the sim card in the router. I followed the guide in: https://wirelessjoint.com/viewtopic.php?p=10303#p10303 to usb tether to my At&t phone. But now I realized that it is using the phone's modem instead of the one in the router. Is there any way I can use the modem in the router, while at the same time using the imei from my samsung?

Nope. Two different modems, two different imei's.

Well...I switched to Verizon. At first I couldn't connect until I switched the ttl to 64 lol. I'm able to get service in an area where before it took 5 minutes just to load a page on a cell phone. Pretty interesting to me.
