RV-4G.com
Anyone have any experience with them. My parents live in rural area and used to be with ATTHotspot before they discontinued T-Mobile plans recently. Switched to RV-4G, and the mofi is dropping the connection every 3-4 hours. Never did this with the old provider.
Thanks.
Thanks.

Re: RV-4G.com
5G home internet, 4G home internet, and fixed-wireless internet all operate over wireless cellular signals, which requires a nearby cell tower to deliver service. Just like what happens with a cell phone, you can experience disconnects and service interruptions if there’s overcrowding on the network or bad weather conditions. Your connection can also be impacted by nearby buildings or geographical features like hills, trees, and mountains.
See if you can band lock to a different cell band

Re: RV-4G.com
Switched from one t mobile reseller to a different one. Went from ATTHotspot to RV4G. Atthotspot now looks to be selling t mobile again. No issues before, so thinking it is the reseller. RV4G has a T-Mobile SIM card, the prior was just a white one, no branding. Thinking of going back to OTR now that they are selling t mobile again.
Any other thoughts? Using Linux 2 65. 64 performed the same

Postpay TMobile Magenta Max
T-Mobile are the only ones I know of that offer a unlimited HD streaming.
If you are over 55 years of age can get the 55+ plan.
If you have friends to share it with can get two lines for $90 of magenta plus. Magenta plus has the HD streaming.
Call them up and say a friend going to give you a phone that they said it works with T-Mobile. But you don't know what kind of phone it is. They will send you a pre-activated sim in the mail.
The sim card was activated right in the MC7455. The sim was mailed to me set up account over the phone. After it set it up used rooter to send and receive text messages. This is under modem then sms messages. This is very useful to get confirmation codes when you are on the phone with them and also to set up your online account.
This way got to keep sim card full size. Don't have to deal with sim card adapters which can be troublesome at times.

Re: RV-4G.com
aren’t you able to just order the magenta max plan as a SIM card and insert it into the mofi?

Check both your parents and your address.Dr-BroadBand wrote: ↑Sun Aug 29, 2021 2:16 pm See if T-Mobile home Internet is an option?? https://www.t-mobile.com/isp
The unit not locked with the address just need the device then could move it.

Right now they are using a directional antenna. I think they would struggle with speeds without the external antennaDr-BroadBand wrote: ↑Sun Aug 29, 2021 5:21 pm Check both your parents and your address.

Re: RV-4G.com
I agree with this. Would only go the t-mobile phone sim way if this isn't available.Dr-BroadBand wrote: ↑Sun Aug 29, 2021 5:21 pm Check both your parents and your address.
