No 5G on my RM502Q-AE is there a command?

First the set up.

RM502Q-AE to 4x4 Mimo. 0 = A1 +45%, 1 = A2 +45%, 3 = A1 -45%, 4 = A2 -45%

All I am getting is B2. I have the same service as my phone which is getting 5G. Is there a way to turn on/off 5G that I am not aware of?

Are my antennas on the proper post?

I searched the forum, and can't find anything that I am doing wrong.

Any and all help is greatly appreciated.

If you go the RM502Q listing on the thewirelesshaven.com site you will see how to setup the antenna ports to a 4x4 mimo panel.

Under the Antenna Connections tab. With pictures.

The outer two ports are one pair and the inner two are the second pair.

There are commands to lock to 5G or LTE or auto.

Code: Select all

AT+QNWPREFCFG="mode_pref",AUTO

....will allow the router to choose the best mode based on available bands.

You will also want to run:

AT+QNWCFG="dss_enable",1

...this turns on an important feature

After running these two commands, run:

AT+CFUN=1,1

...to reset the modem.

Resulted in "Modem is too busy" return. I literally laughed... What??

looks like you have a router issue honestly. try to SSH in and send the commands
