My new RV had preinstalled One Control roof mount for Lippert’s external antenna and WE826-T Hotspot which can only use 3rd party data plan supplier which sucks. I wanted to return for a refund but Lippert says once it’s installed they won’t take it back for a refund. So, being somewhat techie I’m hoping I can load another version of FW that will allow it to use an unlimited AT&T plan. Thinking it should be possible but need guidance.
Any hope?

Perrylic

Hey perrylic,
Did you ever get a chance to try what was posted here?

I am in the same boat as you, and looking to avoid the overpriced Lippert plans, and put on a more standard firmware.

Re: WE826-T new Firmware?
Thanks, Didneywhorl.
The post you linked is the post I was referring to.
I used that firmware, and then followed this post: https://wirelessjoint.com/viewtopic.php?f=12&t=5#p5 to get the firmware on the router. Everything is working great with my existing verizon sim now.
