Mofi4500-4GXeLTE V3 and RV-4G Tmobile sim

Post by rjmiller15 »

We are using a Mofi4500-4GXeLTE V3 and a tmobile unlimited sim card from Rv-4G. They promise no throttling or data caps and we have been having no problem for over a month and all of a sudden I'm getting less than 1 mbps. I submitted a support ticket through Rv-4G and they said that to factory reset my modem settings as my router has cached previous settings and not performing at its fullest.

I do not think this is the issue but I am open to suggestions.

We have good signal and a weboost antenna attached directly to the modem.

Are saying you are using a booster? Or just the antenna?

Most likely the problem is with your Sim card provider.

For $60 you can get a real TM Sim 100Gig of data.

Boosters are good for single boosting Voice calls but they can hurt signal quality and data throughput.

Would remove your booster and take your MoFI To another tower away from the RV park to do some testing.

Is the MoFI a Sim4 or Sim7??

What band are you using?
