I have an old home fusion broadband antenna that we haven't used in a few years, that was attached to our in-law's house.
I pulled it down yesterday and started disassembly.
I was thinking of using it with Visible, if possible. They have fairly poor signal inside their house, so if it works, I could possibly just get an inside antenna for their house.

So far, I've gotten the plastic shell off, and removed the phillips screws from the inner assembly (appears to be a copper antenna), but I haven't messed with the wires that are attached.
There are little metal covers/shields(?), that I'm not sure how to remove delicately. Do they just snap on/off? I assume one of them has a SIM card hidden underneath.. or it could be underneath the circuit board which is fastened by star head screws. Removing those is my next step once I find my star bits...
Does anyone else have experience with this?
Can I repurpose a VZ cantenna?
