New Setup: Not getting Connection
Hey all - new to this and have some issues I could use some help troubleshooting. I am new to this so forgive any technical fopaws. I am happy to provide additional logs, but the gist of what I am dealing with is:
Build: WG 3526-P Router, EM 12G Modem. This was a build kit from The Wireless Haven and to my understanding is pre-installed with the correct golden Rooter/orb kit.
I have a Calyx sim card running through Sprint, r.ispsn APN. I have verified the connection and internet through the Linkzone 2, and when I switch back and forth it maintains function in the Linkzone regardless of how the WG 3526 is behaving.
Tripple checked the SIM. I believe it is being read in some way shape or form as I am seeing connection info to the sprint network, which band (66 right now actually which is T-Mobile, have seen 26 as well) Phone number etc.
However, it is registering the error message: /dev/ttyUSB2 AT+CPMS="SM" ERROR
Indicating a sim error - when I verify with the AT command I get the following:
+CME ERROR: 13
Any thoughts or experience here? Is my IEMI getting blocked by the network and should I consider starting the ROOter/golden orb install from scratch?

- Just an update - I performed a system reset and have gotten to the bottom of the troubleshooting list. I am not sure if I didn't notice this before, but I have found that currently I am getting connection with working browser website access, etc. for about 2 minutes after start up is complete. /dev/ttyUSB2 AT+CPMS="SM" OK will repeat during that time, after which it transitions to /dev/ttyUSB2 AT+CPMS="SM" ERROR and stays that way. Always about 2 minutes in. The router was connected to band 25 for a while while I had a connection and after the transition to the error with no connection. It is currently connected to band 66, though previously it has just hung out on band 25 after losing access. That doesn't seem to be a driving factor.

AT+CPMS may be a tell tale of issues, bit it itself is an SMS storage preference setting. It's ignored for our uses.
Show me the Modem->Connection profile page please.
Also, when it is connected for the 2 minutes, show me the top of your Modem->Network Status page. Hide the modem info (imei and SIM info)

Quick update - nothing new. I am refraining from entering a bunch of AT commands I find on threads here as that does not seem smart. I did switch to MBIM for the hell of it but no change. I switched back to QMI. One interesting thing I noticed is that currently, the system time will not sync to the browser. It has in the past, but for now, hitting the button does nothing, restarted and tried but no change. Probably irrelevant, but just trying to report what I see.

Lets update the firmware on the router while we are at it...

Flash it 2 times and make sure NOT to keep the check in the box that says "Save Settings"
Then when done and logged back in.
Set the system time first, and time zone. Save and apply
Set the system password. save and apply.
Set the Modem->connection profile->default->APN: r.ispsn
then head to the AT terminal and enter one command at a time:

Then go to the Network Status screen and wait for your modem to reboot and see what you get.

Apologies for the delay, I got busy myself. Just wanted to post and say thanks - Flashing seems to have fixed the main problem I was having regarding the disconnect after 2 minutes. This was enough reliability to get it mounted to a 2x2 mimo and in an enclosure. I'll be mounting the enclosure to a pole on the roof this weekend. I am still getting some periodic disconnects and slows but I believe it is losing the band due to signal strength. I am getting better speeds than my hotspot, but less reliability which is strange. I am going to work on optimizing my signal and mounting and see how it looks first and foremost.
