Hi all,
We are looking for a 5G ready industrial router/enclosure that has an M2 slot. We are also planning on getting an EM160R-GL module and that's why the M2 slot necessity.
It would need to have 4 slots for LTE/4G antennas, 2 or more slots for wifi, and maybe 1 for GPS. It would also be great if the wifi chipset on the board can be customized/removable.
The router box is going to be installed on our RV and connected to LTE/4G towers while we are on the road.
Any suggestions would be highly appreciated.

Look into the WG1608D-M router? https://thewirelesshaven.com/shop/routers/lte-rou ... 8ghz-wifi/
Otherwise sounds like you want the H721 router: https://thewirelesshaven.com/shop/routers/m2m-rou ... est-model/
The Wireless Haven has some of the H721s on order, should be in this week I hear.
EM160: https://thewirelesshaven.com/shop/modems/quectel- ... m-2-modem/
Personally I prefer the WG3526-P router and the EM160 in a usb3 enclosure plugged into the router via usb:

Thank you, Didneywhorl.
I read in this post on the forum that some H721s are defective and are not recommended:
https://wirelessjoint.com/viewtopic.php?f=21&t=527&p=4111
Do you have any comments on that?
Also, we would like to directly connect the router to DC power (our battery band via a fuse box). Probably we can cut the adaptor cable that comes with these routers and create a direct connection to our DC power source.

May we ask why?Personally I prefer the WG3526-P router and the EM160 in a usb3 enclosure plugged into the router via usb

It appears the newest version of the H721 is working great. The early versions did not have proper surge protection and was burning up the m.2 modems of higher category like the now rare EM20G.
The WG3526-P is still updated today and has a long history of support. It is still relevant today as it has the front facing USB3 port. It's just a working proven router. Though the wifi speeds are nothing to write about, most of us turn that off on this unit.

What wifi cards do you recommend for H721? Is H721 Wifi 6/6e compatible?

I'm not real well versed on all the latest wifi cards. I just grab ones off thewirelesshaven.com (Kind of a blind faith on wifi card topics to be honest)

No clue on the latest wifi 6 stuff
