I have a EM12-G modem from Quectel and a USB3 Modem Adapter (from The Wireless Haven).
When I plug-in the adapter in my USB3 port under Windows, I see the Modem. Ports (3 of them) and the Ethernet Adapter showing in the device manager, but in the "Network Connection" section of the Control Panel, the "Cellular" connection comes and goes - never staying stable in there to connect.
Under Windows 10 I am using the latest Quectel Drivers 2.2.2 (also tried with 2.1 with same effect).
Does anybody know what happens here and how to fix this?

Did you change any Windows settings to get it to connect directly in the PC via the USB connection?
