NEXR5GO, EM7565, Visible Wireless NOT working

Post by hayedid »

Hi. I thought all this was up and running, but it only worked for a very short time and I have been out of town and haven't been able to follow up.

Router: NEXR5GO
Modem: EM7565

The best I can tell, I followed all the directions provided with the router. Since it isn't working, I have been trying various Firewall settings. Here is my status result:

AT!GSTATUS?
!GSTATUS:
Current Time: 729 Temperature: 36
Reset Counter: 2 Mode: ONLINE
System mode: LTE PS state: Attached
LTE band: B66 LTE bw: 15 MHz

LTE SSC2 state:NOT ASSIGNED
LTE SSC3 state:NOT ASSIGNED
LTE SSC4 state:NOT ASSIGNED
EMM state: Registered Normal Service
RRC state: RRC Idle
IMS reg state: No Srv

PCC RxM RSSI: -64 PCC RxM RSRP: -96

Any ideas what might be wrong?

Thank you.

Hmmm... found a thread about making the modem 'GENERIC' rather than visible. Re-ran that. Switched back to port 64 and seem to be up and running again.

Getting behind on all the posts. Yeah, Generic is the way with Sierra cards, unless you have a SIM and plan that is actually registered with the Sierra directly. Then the carrier firmware is best.
