I currently have a MOFI 4500 with the Sierra MC7455 card. I bridge it, and use it exclusively as a modem, with an AT&T SIM from a reseller.
I'm interested in building a relatively inexpensive device to experiment with a Visible account. Band 66 would be my primary interest.
I live in a rural area, but I am lucky enough to have line of sight to a tower only 1.2 miles away. When my VZW phone connects, it uses band 66.
WiFi capabilities are not at all important. I have my house wired wired, with AP's that give great coverage already. I'm mostly interested in something I can bridge or use as a modem only.
I've been digging around, and filling an thewirelesshaven.com cart, emptying it, and filling it again.
What hardware recommendations would you suggest?
