I'm having issues getting this new setup connected to Verizon. I took the SIM out of a Sierra Wireless MP70 Router and it's working fine. I have the APN set to vzwinternet under the connection profile but it fails to connect.
The router seems to be reading the SIM correctly and AT+CPIN? returns READY
I also ran AT+CGDCONT? and it's showing the correct APN.
I read somewhere else that it could possibly be a firmware issue with the modem. Right now AT!IMPREF? shows that the modem has generic firmware. Do I possibly need carrier specific firmware for the modem like this?https://source.sierrawireless.com/resou ... jAbpt.dpbs
Thanks for the help!

I am pretty sure my Verizon plan is tied directly to my device by its IMEI. You may need to register/activate the IMEI of the EM7565 through your account settings.
Re: Help connecting EM7565 + NEXQ6GO to VERIZON
So this is interesting, I logged into Verizon to register the new modem and the new information was already in there, the new SIM and the device was showing as a Sierra Wireless 7565 instead of Airlink MP70 which is what it was before. So obviously I'm talking to the tower for it to automatically get that new information. Weird that it won't connect though!

Re: Help connecting EM7565 + NEXQ6GO to VERIZON
Is there cell tower info loading on the Modem-> network status page?
Are there "MBIM" or "QMI" messages in the Status->System Log page? Run a (ctrl-F) text search for those quoted words and look to the bottom of the log for error or informational messages

Cell Information is blank.
I don't see anything for MBIM, here's what I see for QMI:

Re: Help connecting EM7565 + NEXQ6GO to VERIZON
So I've been dealing with my rep at Verizon and he's telling me that he can't add the new modem into the system because "it looks like Sierra Wireless hasn't registered that batch of IMEI's yet". It's giving him this error:
Has anyone else ever had this problem?
Thanks

Re: Help connecting EM7565 + NEXQ6GO to VERIZON
I've never gotten my modems to work on Verizon based services using QMI protocol, only via MBIM. No idea why.
I did get one connected in ECM mode as well.
