Post by hcgs06@yahoo.com »

I have a ZBT WG3526 with a EP06-A and have set certain setting and they are not set after appling them and like it says I will do it my way. Both 2.4 & 5G radios are set to Transmit with MAX power yet they come back with their on settings.??

Also In setting up the network slection I have this 2nd setting under NETWORK- Wireless which I Disabled
What should be done with this setting.

Also On the Interfaces- Are any of these items supposed to have settings ofther than the Default?? I know that informationhas to be setup in LAN section but what about the rest. I have no VPN or WAN connections.

This is version of Rooter I am on.

I am not complaining but simply asking questions to make this network work better. I wished there was a manual for this version of Rooter and described entry by entry what each section did by the numbers. I also realize since upgrading to Rooter from the original Firmware that came in it Rooter has a lot more expandabilty than what came in the Router.

Thanks again in advance for all the Help. I have been searching and found some answers and made changes so I am not getting all those error msgs in System Log . made changes rebooted and immeadately things started working Good or bad I don't know time will tell.

Thanks
JDD

Evan after hitting save and apply the wifi settings change back?

The second item in the wireless, which is disabled by default, is your guest wifi SSID.

All the items in Interfaces populate as they activate or connect.

Most of those items can be left alone as default.
