Help with power Adapter

I have a WE3526 with a em20 modem installed unit shipped with a ec25 and a 1 amp power adapter.
I found a 2 amp adapter laying around the house and powers on no issues been browsing the store and found the 2.5 amp. My question is would a 2.5 amp power supply be better than the 2.0 amp that i am currently using?
