Mint Moblie on tethered Galaxy S7 to Raspberry Pi 3 running GoldenOrb

Post by hiker1700 »

Hi,
Been trolling the forum and found a ton of good info here. I'm wondering if anyone has successfully set up a RPi 3 with ROOTer/GoldenOrb and tethered it to a T-Mobile MVNO?
I seem to have things set up properly but after setting the phone and router APN to "Wholesale" (which I got from Mint customer service) and plugging in the modem it seems to hang at "connecting".
Any thoughts on what I might be doing wrong?

Does it work in the phone on its own?

You may want to look into mobile tethering apps like easytether, I think its called, and make sure it works with something like your laptop first.
