WG3526 Broken Sim Card Slot
I have SImpleMobile running in a WG3526 inside of a 700-2700MHz WiFi 4G LTE 8dBi Directional MIMO Antenna (± 45°) RJ45 Connector. Today while actively using the internet it stopped working. I opened up the antenna and the sim card no longer locks in place. I have it taped down and it seems to be working fine. Anyone see an issue with having it taped down?

Nope, it's only you, and there's nothing Duct Tape cannot fix! lol jk Unfortunately the tray is soldered onto the main board and it would be really difficult to replace it. Here are a couple of solutions...
1. If your modem is an M.2 form factor (or willing to upgrade to one), you could use the M.2 to mPCIE adapter's internal sim tray as a workaround. "The adapter will ignore (i.e., not read) a SIM Card installed in a router’s SIM Card slot, while some routers may be unable to read the SIM Card slot on this adapter."

2. You could move the modem into an external modem enclosure which comes with its own sim tray, then connect it to your router via a usb cable. Depending on the type of your modem's form factor, here are both mPCIe and M.2 enclosures.
