Is the router seeing the sim card? That would rule out any question about where the sim is inserted. If you see sim information on the Modem > Network Status page then you are good.
Do you have the modem in LTE/4g mode only? you can do that with:

that is strange, it is usually root:[blank] or root:admin, but sounds like you tried those.
did you try doing ctrl+f5 in the browser to try and clear cache or using a different browser? just to make sure.

Just an update to this. I have MobileCitizen. The other day I noticed I was connected to band 4. Today I'm back on band 25. I haven't specifically tried locking to any other t-mobile bands. But I wonder if things are changing with this.

Did you happen to notice if it made a difference what band you were connected to? I was noticing on b41 I had a fine signal but it would frequently disconnect. but on b25 I can go weeks without a disconnect. Just curious if you noticed anything like that.

I could be wrong, but it is my understanding that if you use a google fi sim in anything other then a google fi capable phone, the only provider you can connect to is t-mobile.
So it does work, but it is just t-mobile and not the cheapest t-mobile option I don't think.

I have mobilecitizen and have been using it with an EM06-A for about a year now, it has been working great for me. But I have no experience with the MC7455.
I have never been able to connect to band 41. But I think that is because I don't have line of sight and am a couple miles away.

one possibility with verizon (pageplus) is you could activate your sim first on a verizon branded/whitelisted phone and then switch the sim to your router. I've done this with phones and it worked fine, never tried it on a router but I assume it would be the same.

You can try forcing it onto band 41, by excluding all other bands (in other words only including band 41 in the band list), provided that there's enough signal in your particular area. Try using this command and see is it helps: AT+QCFG="nwscanmode",3,1 That will force the modem to use LTE Only.
