Re: Mobile Citizen / Calyx Internet Service Change 5G Upgrade Required
FW and ID in 7455 have been updated. APN updated. Back online with new SIM on B2. GSTATUS looks good on B41, but no data. Tried some different APNs.

Re: Mobile Citizen / Calyx Internet Service Change 5G Upgrade Required
Old SIM / 7565 quit working today. Couldn't get old SIM to work in 7565 or 7455.
Was showing typical band and signal levels, but no data for users.
Is "IMS Reg state: No Srv" bad?
Using new SIM / Frank now at painfully slow speeds.

Re: New WE826-T some observations and questions
yes, I made that very point in my original post. Speed is 3x as much when I hook an 8 year old actiontec with a missing antenna to the ethernet port and use its wifi instead.
yes, I have a pair of external yagi antennas on a pole that blew down in a severe windstorm a few weeks ago. I'm trying to ...

Re: Beware the power supply
Took apart the 2-amp supply that came with the WE826 to remove the
DC-side wire and connector. Noticed that the solder work was poor.
One leg of an electrolytic cap pulled out from pushing slightly on it, and
the other leg had a bad solder joint, but enough to mechanically hold.
Anyway, put the ...

Beware the power supply
First, just wanna send thanks to The Wireless Haven, hacks, and Jim. We are all addicted
to good data now. :D
Now, for the observation.
Beware the power supply.
We put together two setups with 12-volt 2.5-amp supply, WE826, and EM7565.
One worked well, the other not.

Re: EM7455 putty connection
IIRC, the third COM port is revealed under
DeviceManager -> Modems -> dw5811e -> Properties
Was a way to determine COM port numbers and then go straight to putty

Re: Connection Problem with Verizon Visible unlimited data account (WE826 - MC7455)
Any updates about Visible?
I just got a SIM. Does it need to be activated in a smartphone first?
Thanks.
