WE826 with MC7455 updated firmware / wifi fixed
Thought I would just post this out there for people having issues with the WE826 WiFi always dropping out. Apparently in the openwrt versions < 19.07.2. There is a issue with the WiFi drivers that cause it to hang when high bandwidth devices are being used. This would require a hard reboot of the ...

It's based on the goldenorb 19.07.2 rooter build packages. https://www.ofmodemsandmen.com/buildpkg.html
Correct, No mods other than fixing the loop. I did set default ttl and settings etc. As I got tired of having to set them up everytime I flashed.

Re: Poynting XPOL-2-5G Antenna (A-XPOL-0002-V3-01) Review
Bummer that is is SMA connection. I picked up one of these too while waiting for The Wireless Haven to restock their 15dBi flat panel. Need to see about adapting it to N-type connectors in order to use it with my lightning arrestors.
There is an N-Type connector version available, please see ...

Re: Spitz AT Commands not setting 2x CA for EP06A
The reason your modem doesn't do 2+4 is because it's not supported on that modem.juicedupchaos wrote: Thu Aug 13, 2020 4:04 pm Hey sorry I actually posted the wrong code!

Re: EM20 Antenna Connection and commands?
You'll want to use M and D/G, though the em20 is meant for 4 antennas, it should work.
There is no command to see each antennas signal strength. The command does exist (AT+QRSRP I think) but the EM20G does not support it, and Quectel has placed the device in development limbo for now. The Quectel ...

Re: Issues with new EM20-G
Have you tried to use it as a startup AT command in ROOTer? IIRC there is a setting specifically for it.
I'd like to see where that may be--could be useful for future experimentation. I was exploring the WG3526's Linux filesystem via terminal connection (ssh), and grepping for "AT+" commands to ...

I hope it works out for you safely. Make sure you have a person around to call the paramedics if not.

Re: WE826 and issues with factory firmware
Huh. I've never messed with the Ku firmware. How did you find the Hacks site, btw?
Honestly, from all I've read from your posts on this Ku unit, I would try to get my money back and just put one together myself, one with the Qualcomm WiFi chip in it. Then add any modem you want up to a cat12 modem ...

Re: Rooter build for Pi4
These statements were true at least about a week ago. I haven't looked lately.
There's no GoldenOrb release for the RPi4.
There's no stable OpenWRT release for RPi4.
The RPi3 image will NOT run on an RPI4.
The RPi 2 image *might* run on a RPi4 in 32 bit mode (I've not confirmed).

Re: WE826 with EP06 stuck in hostelss/phone protocol
After setting those commands you HAVE to hard reboot the modem either with AT+CFUN=1,1 or a full power cycle. Otherwise it may act very odd.

Re: NetGear NightHawk M1 Inside Antenna Ports
I bought some connectors to do this but looked to hard to Solder them on.
This is what I did do which helped getting better connection on the two normal ports. Only issue is solder is very weak if you put pressure on it. So over time they start to get loose. Don't know if I would recommend doing ...
