WE826 Not Working

It started with me changing the SSID and password and has morphed into a router that does not respond at all. No WiFi, No Ethernet and if I power off and re-power with the reset button held I get a fast flashing WiFi light that stops after a while and it ends with the red power light and blue USB light on. I even tried removing the modem and reset the router with the same results.

I would follow @steveg advice and use the link provided.
Had same issue after failed attempt when updating GoldenOrb. My WE826 was acting exactly as you describe. Took me 4-5 tries to get my timing right (ping method), but got back into WE826, updated firmware and all good.
Can be very frustrating, so would start the process with a fresh mind
