MBR1400v2 Ethernet Tether From Phone

I have been using this router with a phone SIM for over a year as our rural home internet. My carrier figured out that my SIM was not installed in a "Approved Device" (phone) and killed service. I had a backup SIM to keep me going for now.

My phone has Ethernet tethering as a hot spot option. I got a Belkin USB C To Ethernet + Charge Adapter that I would like to connect to my router to keep the SIM in my "approved" device while Hot Spotting.

Questions
Do I need to remove the Modem with the SIM for the Phone/Ethernet Tether Connection to work?
Can I use both the SIM/Modem and Phone/Ethernet Tether together?
What configurations need to be done to get the Phone/Ethernet Tether working?

I plugged the Phone/Ethernet Tether into the blue port on the router and turned on the Ethernet hot spot....nothing happened.
