HELP - Unable to change the WiFi password and ssid on We826-T2 with WiFix Firmware

After installing WiFix firmware on a we826-T2 router with modem mc7455 I was unable to change the SSID and Password successfully. When I try the WiFi becomes disabled and I have to reinstall the WiFix Firmare to get the modems WiFi to work again. WiFi only works if the SSID and Password are default from the WiFix Firmware.

I have reinstalled firmware multiple times with the "keep settings" unchecked. That did not work.

My Question: Are the SSID and Password permanent, or is it a glitch in the WiFix Firmware?
