Anyone tried an EM7455 in Dell Latitude E5450?

I'm thinking of buying a Dell Wireless DW5811e for my Dell Latitude E5450 notebook.

My only doubt: Dell states that DW5811e (which is a fully functional but Dell-branded Sierra Wireless AirPrime EM7455) is only supported from Latitude E5470 (and not E5450). However, its interface is the same (M.2) which the E5450 does have.

Anyone tried an EM7455 in notebooks older than it's classified for?
