Yes they both have the same names and both have mostly the same description. However one has 6 antenna connectors while the other has only 4.

I was wondering if 4 LTE antennas aren't needed for 4xMIMO I thought each antenna would do one channel.

I've been trying to figure this one out, too.
There should be 4 hardware models based on Quectel's timeline:
I have a model that appears to be a "CS" or "CS2". 4 antenna ports, just labeled 0, 1, 2, 3. I'm itching it find out what they are.

- CS (Commercial Sample 1)
- CS2 (Commercial Sample 2)
- MP (Mass Production)
