Hello,
I have a mofi4500 sim4 as of right now, (I'm going to return it and build my own after reading through this site), and my current service is at&t. I put a Verizon sim card from someones phone into the router to test if it would work, and I couldn't get it to connect at all. I tried changing the firmware to verizon and generic, and I also tried changing the apn to verizon and auto. The cell mapper website told me that the verizon tower is very close to the at&t tower, but I adjusted my yagis anyways to see if it would help to no avail.
As a side note, the phone the sim came from gets great service here, so I'm wondering if Verizon doesn't allow their sim cards to go into routers maybe? Does anyone have experience with this?

Re: Can't get Verizon to work in a router
I've looked, but I must be searching the wrong things.
The router I was planning to put together is with the sierra em7565 modem and the we1326 router. Does anyone have any experience whether a phone sim works on those?
edit: seems to be the same issue with the 7565

I have a Verizon prepaid sim in my mc7455 right now an is working no issue. The apn I use is vzwinternet. You do have to activate the sim on a Verizon device first but actually getting much better speeds than I was with att iPad plan.
