Searched and found a similar post, but not quite the same. I have converted a Mofi to WiFiX and the lights are not all behaving. On the Mofi firmware, all of the lights functioned. Unsure if there is a difference in hardware but could use some help.
Probably the first thing to know is how the Mofi lists the LEDs:
Power/Booting/Status
Internet
Wifi
WAN
LAN1
LAN2
LAN3
LAN4
Is this the same as the standard WE826?
I am now running WiFiX 2019-11-16. The Wifi light and the LAN lights appear to work fine. None of the other lights function. The other thread I mentioned had a way to make the WAN light function, which is great, but it would be nice to have them all working. I have played around in the settings and not had any luck. But I can, for example, make the LAN4 light come on and stay on as default (like a power light would), but I cannot get the power light to come on for anything.
Might just take someone with functioning lights posting what their settings are?
Thanks for the help.

Re: Lights not working on Mofi conversion
Thanks! Unfortunately I checked and my settings are identical. I did try a different GoldenOrb version while troubleshooting another issue with no change, so I'm thinking maybe it is a hardware difference? My lights worked with the Mofi firmware right before flashing.
Any thoughts?

Re: Lights not working on Mofi conversion
Everything I have read says that the MOFI and the 826 are identical, so it shouldn't be a hardware issue. But now that you know the settings are the same, try playing around with the led settings and see what happens.
Re: Lights not working on Mofi conversion
Notice in the default list there is no setting for a "power" light, for example. This tells me it should be built into the program. Or maybe hardwired (although I would think if that was the case it would come on regardless of firmware). But there is still in the dropdowns a way you can supposedly access the power light. If I set up the light the way I think it should work - I get nothing from the power light. However, if I change the light to lan4, then the lan4 comes on and stays on with no other changes - just the way I would expect the power light to act. This tells me there is either a hardware difference or something in the software, and not my settings. Or am I missing something? Ideas?
Thanks again.

Re: Lights not working on Mofi conversion
Thank you- yes! I read that thread and I was able to get the WAN light to work, but my power, status, and internet lights have never worked with this firmware, thought they do work with the Mofi firmware.
I think it's definitely a firmware issue.
