Greetings. I am off to the Philippines in a few weeks, and would like to get my unlocked MR6500 ready to work with the 5G bands there. Globe and Smart utilize 5G band N78 (3.5GHz) and N41 (2.6GHz) there. The Netgear specs for the MR6500 list N78 as a supported band for 5G Sub-6. But, when I telnet into the device and issue the at !band=? command, band N78 does not appear (see output of the command attached).
My question is, can I add this band into the unit or are the specs from Netgear not correct? Here are the details of the MR6500 I have:
Model: MR6500-1A1NAS
H/W: 1.0
F/W: NTGX65_10.04.22.01 1/11/23
Modem Ver: MPSS.DE.1.0-02593-OLYMPIC_GENALL_PACK-1
Thanks in advance for any help or guidance that can be provided.

Re: Unlocked MR6500 and 5G Band N78 (3.5MHz)
from Netgear datasheet, it does have same bands support as you are retrieving via AT command, please check https://www.downloads.netgear.com/files ... DS_ATT.pdf
Re: Unlocked MR6500 and 5G Band N78 (3.5MHz)
seems you happened to stay with the page where wrong information was done, which very common for Netgear, here is another link that shows most of M6/M6Pro band support difference, FYI

Re: Unlocked MR6500 and 5G Band N78 (3.5MHz)
Just check the hardware on the fcc page to make sure the antennas are the same as
MR6150-100EUS
They do have the same chip and modem so you only need to check the antenna specs
If they are then you will know you can enable those 2 bands in the device.
