SunComm 5G CPE 01

Hi All.

I recently purchased the SunComm 5G CPE 01 from NetBuddy and the router is stuck in 5G mode. There is no menu option under Network Mode to choose LTE for 4G.

Net Buddy support is not that responsive...so before I hit the RMA button...wanted to see if anybody had experience with firmware on this unit?

Not sure if you figured this out or not. But I have a more recent firmware update you can try for it. The option should be there...

Where can I get this firmware I'm having the Same issue except I can't turn on 5g

Just saw there is an update for the radio card, RM520NGLAAR01A07M4G_01.201.01.201

Not sure how to update that in a suncomm. It's still too new to me.

If you figure out how to update the RM520N to A07. Please share your findings. I prefer not to remove the card and place it on a SLED.

I'm thinking about getting ATT hotspot service and use with SUNCOMM O2 gen 1 and this thread is giving me pause.
- is there a cell provider more compatible than ATT with Suncomm O2?
- does it take much work to get this router working with ATT?
- Will O2 gen 1 work (blue front panel) as well as gen 2 (gold front)?
- what is "RM520N to A07" and why do I need it and how do I do it?
- is this what I need to know about SLED, and why do I need it? https://www.encstore.com/blog/5577-what ... ld-reader
- if I figure all this out and update the firmware, will it work with ATT?
- do I have to figure out similar workarounds for other carrier?
- anything else I need to know?
