Router bottleneck help

I have Linksys EA8500 router w/ Cat 16 modem
I have OnePlus 8 w/ Cat 18 modem

Sim swapping back to back nets same results. Router is always 1/2 to 1/4 slower than phone. (Router=110Mbps max, phone=130Mbps-230Mbps)
Phone signal is worse avg. -112dB rsrq. Router signal is around -98 to -100dB rsrq.
Phone is doing 4x2 and 4x4 mimo at times, and 3xCA normally. Router is doing 3xCA right now but normally 4xCA (It is 4x4 mimo capable also, with 4 antennas hooked up, one 2x2 mimo panel antenna and 2 blade style in the house next to the router).

With all that said, why is my router getting better signal and more aggregation....but still under performing to my phone getting less signal.

Cat 18 vs Cat 16 and my phone seems to be doing a better job regarding mimo? Is that all that is stiffling speeds?
