Hello group. I have been using a wg1608 with a rm502q-ae and GO 8-15-21 with TMHO for a while with no issues.
Just recently the modem began dropping connection and i noticed that it has been locking n41 for 5g which it never used to. Previously was only n71. Thinking it may be new to my tower and having issues.
Is there anyway to lock out or turn off this band using AT commands? If so can anyone walk me through this please.
Also is there anyway to check/update the firmware on the 502 easily while still in the 1608?

Search my posts, I did a step by step on flashing Quectel modems while still in the router. Will 100% work on the wg1608.
The at command manual will give you the commands you seek. Or update the wg1608 firmware, rooter added band locking to the ui.
