Trying to do firmware flash on 4500 v2

Post by ylrkdr »

Long story short, I installed Pure VPN on my 4500, followed their instructions, and it got bricked. Watched the MOFI tutorial on factory reset by manually flashing the firmware via ethernet, but the 192.168.1.1 site that MOFI requires to flash it is being used by my Nighthawk. Now what? I sent an email to MOFI.

The solution was simple(turn the wifi on the computer off, duh!), enabling me to get to the MOFI flash page. After doing so, the wifi light came on, and I was able to get wifi on the MOFI. However, the internet light never came on, and I had no internet, leading me to suspect there may be a modem problem. Will investigate at another time.

The modem shows up on the mofi interface, but I can't access the space used on the internal memory module. Not sure if this is the root cause of no internet connection, without a lot of research this is currently over my head. :?
