generic MC7455 won't connect to network

Post by matrx10503 »

Ok, have a mc7455 that was out of a BEC technologies LTE router. Generic firmware.
I've updated the card to latest f/w.
The card works in QMI mode in the BEC router fine (mbim it will not)

Put mc7455 in my rooter router and changed to mbim mode:

Code: Select all

RSRQ (dB): -10.0 Cell ID: 011A3302 (18494210)
SINR (dB): 10.4
OK

Sim card and imei shows up fine. I put a EC25-AF (both qmi and mbim mode) in and it connects within 30 seconds.

Is the SIM/plan tied to a specific IMEI, perhaps?

I put another carrier sim and it worked, then I swapped the tmo back in and was working this time. So i'm not exactly sure what ended up getting it to work.
