LM960A18 USBCFG oopsie

I was trying to coerce my LM960A18 into playing nicely with my shiny new Mikrotik HAP ac2. The last thing I said to it was "AT#USBCFG=3" and since then its refused to talk to me :(

I read the manual (after nuking it of course) that not all modes provide an AT command ability and that seems to correlate to where I am. This setting is lost on upgrades so I tried to refresh the factory firmware but its still giving me the same limited options in windows that prevents me getting an AT command again.

Any suggestion from the modem whisperers very gratefully received, thank you

Good news. Flashing the firmware a second time seems to have restored all factory defaults.
