EM12-G for SMS texts with Visible

Has anyone sent/received SMS messages successfully with a Visible SIM installed?

I'm trying get a ZBT router (WE826-Q with ROOter/GoldenOrb) to receive a ::reboot!! text so I will be able to reboot it from a remote location. Visible internet data works flawlessly, but I can't send or receive any SMS messages with Visible.
