Fibocom L860 Compatibility

Looking to build 4x4 sim modem/router or upgrade my Mofi4500 to 4x4. Can I swap the Seirra modem with a Fibocom L860 with pcie to m.2 adapter, power supply and new pigtails or would I be better off building complete from scratch?
Is Fibobom modem decent? I’m really just looking for an affordable 4x4 mimo solution. I have two poynting lpda’s laying around collecting dust while my signal quality sits around -10 to -7.
