Have Jetpack and VZW Government Unlimited. How to get more oomph.

Hi Guys,

I was lucky enough to get on my job's government VZW plan with Unlimited. As far as I can tell I'm not throttled/deprioritized at all (not sure what the plan specifics are but I'm already at 60 gbs without anything slowed).

Current setup is a 8800l USB tethered to an Asus-AC3100.

With 1 device on the Jetpack speedtests show 235/35 but I have a feeling with a bunch of devices on the AC3100 it's not passing traffic as well as something else would.

I see a lot of posts about CBA850s but they seem a bit pricy and require a subscription service. Is there something I can buy that I can run into the WAN on the AC3100 and use my client vpn I have installed on it still? Is the CBA850 a modem/router combo and can I use it for only the modem part or are there better "just modem and only cellular antennas" I could be looking at that can get those passthrough speeds I get on my jetpack?
