Hello group.
I recently completed a WG3526 with a Cat6 Sierra MC 7455 build to replace a Netgear LB1120 in a remote location running a security system and other stuff all running on solar and batteries.
All is good with the WG build. I'm using an AT&T sim and receive both an IPv4 and IPv6 address. Up and download speeds are workable and I plan to improve with bigger antennas (going parabolic soon).
Obviously I need remote access to view cameras and configure other IT equipment and software running on the Lan. I currently do this by using Teamviewer running on a Raspberry Pi and utilizing the camera vendor's Peer to Peer software. Previous attempts to run a reverse tunnel or Vpn server have failed so out of frustration I went this route. However, I would rather not route everything through others when I know their should be a way for a direct connection through my given cellular IP addresses.
As this is a fresh build of new equipment, I'm motivated to get the direct remote access working. I'm assuming I'm not the only one that has been down this road and hope the more experience members can point in the right direction and or provide some guidance how to achieve a remote connection with a cellular (AT&T) non public facing ip address. Having an Ipv6 address is new and I'm not sure if that opens up other options. thank you,

Re: Remote access
Explore the ipv6 option, ipv4 is no go like you stated and only possible via VPN or reverse tunnel. I didn't explore the ipv6 part due to my setup https://wirelessjoint.com/viewtopic.php?f=21 ... it=bonding which already provides me with a public ipv4.jjhdtv wrote: Wed Sep 02, 2020 1:52 pm As this is a fresh build of new equipment, I'm motivated to get the direct remote access working.
