Interesting EM7565 LTECA parameters...

Post by ciarlill »

I was perusing the AT command reference for the EM7565 and came across this:

I'm probably reading this wrong, but is this saying you can specify the bands you want to use for uplink and downlink? This would be rather amazing, as usual Band 12 is pretty saturated here for downlink, but gives great uplink speeds. I'd love to be able to specify the user of Band 12 for uplink, and Band 2 (or even better CA across Band 2, 4, 12) for downlink.

I am probably going to experiment with this, but wanted to check if anyone else has seen or tried this before I go entering unknown AT commands into my modem.

As a software developer I complain about docs all the time... but wow hardware vendors are even worse! This stuff is clear as mud.

Code: Select all

<Bd><class>[_<Bd><class>[_<Bd><class>]]:<Bu><class>[,<Bu><cla
ss>[,<Bu><class>]]

You are just reading it wrong. It just displays the supported bands that could/would be used by the modem for uplinks and downlinks when the modem latches onto a particular CA combo.
