I am trying to setup cradlepoint CRA850LP6 for a friend, and somehow I messed up the modem so that it is no longer found by the cradlepoint?
I was attempting to setup on Visible, and I must have fat fingered the usb comp or something, as soon as I did at!reset it never found the modem again.
It was running a super old firmware, so updated it to 7.0.20 (same as my CRA) and tried factory resetting but never found the modem.
Anyone have directions for recovering or factory resetting a modem, I couldn't find anything online, just how to reset the cradlepoint, which doesn't help.

Hmm, the device appears to only have Verizon firmware installed, and my computer complains it is using too much power for USB. Any idea what's going on? I have no idea where he got this modem

Got it sorted out.
Flashed generic firmware for the mc7455, and then switched to qmi and everything started to work again.
