Re: Got the new Tmobile sim router is we826 modem is Mc7455

Hello,

If you are talking about T-Mobile phone sim you just need a apn and TTL set.

APN=fast.t-mobile.com
TTL= 64

The bands the MC7455 can get are 2, 4 and 12 on T-Mobile.

Yes the tmobile sim but not for phone but for a hotspot plan. This is the calyx tmobile hotspot/sim replacement for the ...

Got the new Tmobile sim router is we826 modem is Mc7455

I got the new Tmobile sim as stated in topic my router is we826 and modem is Mc7455. I'm wondering what the Tmobile recommended apn is? What T-mobile bands can my Mc7455 modem hit? I heard with these Tmobile sims you are required to do more steps to avoid detection so I'm wondering what are the ...

Can I use another hotspot besides the Franklin T9 hotspot?

Calyx sent me a Franklin T9 hotspot and with TMobile Sim. I managed to tether the hotspot to a nighthawk router using 5ghz wifi as bridge and 2.4ghz as local wifi. This method seemed to work until I upgraded the the T9 as this upgrade seems to of stealth blocked a few device in my house such as the ...

Looking to maybe upgrade my modem

I'm on the calyx plan. I currently have a mc7455 modem. I still get disconnected once per day. Any Modem recommendations? Should I consider upgrading my router it's a we826? Disconnects are not a huge deal but since I'm upgrading my antenna's figured I'd ask what's going on in the modem department ...

Thanks for the heads up.

Re: Any Recommendations for a Mimo Omnidirectional Antenna

For LTE MIMO applications using onmi-directional antennas, we have found it best to use two separate omni antennas.

Appreciate your advice Jim. May I ask what you think are the two most solid omnidirectional antenna's?

Was also wondering if you were expecting to get the Wide Band Multi ...

Any Recommendations for a Mimo Omnidirectional Antenna

I have a BYOD sprint unlimited plan. I did some extensive testing during the weekend with my internet. I can hit all the bands though band25 seems to be the most stable as of now. On this band on average I'm getting 5 to 2 down and around 10 to 6 up. I want to try to keep this setup inside and not ...

Re: Trouble Connecting to Sprint

Thus was informative. I am struggling with an EM7455 and, as a consequence, like you, didn't have my SIM active for several weeks. I found when I put it into its original hotspot device that it didn't work. One fairly easy phone call later and the service was re-activated. I was occupied with ...

Re: Trouble Connecting to Sprint

What APN are you using?

It could be one of three APN's:

r.ispsn
n.ispsn
x.ispsn

I managed to connect but that's after amazon sent me my sma to tnc adapter so I could add the 698-2690MHz Cisco 4G LTE Antennas And Extension Base. So I'm guessing it's maybe the attenna's that helped (I'm not ...

Trouble Connecting to Sprint

Hi I currently have a BYOD Free unlimited plan with sprint for a year. I decided to try it out and see what happens. I was under the impression that I didn't need a actually device and I merely need to put the sprint sim in router with MC7455 generic firmware installed and it would be able to ...

Re: one of my UFL female pigtails seems a bit loose

I'll take a look at that. I'm dreading getting the rg178mm pigtails inside the we826-2. The cords are to thick, just not enough flexibility to them. I'm probably going to get the 1.13mm cords for the flexibility. On the plus side I've become a pro at connecting male to female ufl connectors now. I'm ...

one of my UFL female pigtails seems a bit loose

I bought a bunch of items off The Wireless Haven and am having problems with one of my UFL female to TNC pigtails. The female UFL seems to pop off the mc7455 male UFL relatively easily. It's really easy to connect it to the male UFL but it doesn't seem to ever mount properly onto the connector I ...

Re: Sim Compatibility to Mc7455?

Seems about right from what I read. It seems Sprint unlike other carriers simply swapping a sim to another device will not work. One has to report the IMEI of the new device to sprint before it will work on their network.

I avoided getting a Cradlepoint router because of issues it may have ...

Sim Compatibility to Mc7455?

Hi I'm new to 4G LTE hacking. I just ordered a bunch of equipment from The Wireless Haven and now am trying to be a bit preemptive with my knowledge. I found out my MC7455 modem has a IMEI which led me down a bit of a rabbit hole. I have the BYOD Sprint plan unlimited data activated and was ...
