Re: LT18 and VISIBLE SIM working..
Update: I recently read a report of the new Visible (2023, running directly on Verizon's network without the Visible "cloud") was working in an LTE router. I tried it yesterday and it worked :
* personality transplant
* TTL
* left APN Profile on automatic, IPv4, 4G only
* pulled SIM from working ...

Re: Cudy LT-500 Selecting Network Operators
I don't see anything in the menus, but they are squirrelly and poorly documented. You might email support@cudy.com; IME they answer within a couple business days after accounting for time zone.
If you find out please report back so we all know.

Re: LT18 and VISIBLE SIM working..
I've have mine successfully working for some time now. Manual APN VSBLINTERNET IPv4 117. Needs to be setup and activated in a phone first.
Visible (original), Visible $30 (new), or Visible+ (new)?
I just got the "ya gotta move to Visible+" email and don't know if it's worth even trying on the ...

Re: LT18 and VISIBLE SIM working..
There are reports on /r/visible that the new Visible plans aren't playing well in routers. My classic visible plan works even without the personality transplant.

Re: LT500 - Latest Firmware?
Depends on which Visible. Visible "classic" uses the old APNs and cloud servers. The new Visible+ plans are what's running directly on the verizon backbone.

Re: LT500 wireless backhaul optimization
Seems easy enough to test.NathaliaBerm wrote: Sat Jul 30, 2022 11:29 am Can I improve the "backhaul" by turning off the wifi on the LT500?
As a general rule I disable services that are not needed.

Re: LT-18 - Disconnects
Now with the Cudy LT-18 it's the same story. Really like the performance, but the connection drops are interrupting work (telecommute).
I don't have any useful thoughts on the disconnect, but there may be approaches to to minimize the impact of intermittent connections.

Re: LT500 - Latest Firmware?
Wondering if anyone has taken it for a spin yet?
I'm using 1.13.6 on a 450 and 500. Both are stable. They still have (or have again) the "menu click reloads same page" issue. I work around this by right-clicking and choosing "open in new tab" which works 100% so far.

Re: LT18 - Download Speeds Dropping to 0MB/S
So how would I set it up on the Cudy?
If you do not have prior experience with VPN I am not convinced this is the time to start. There are costs, both the learning and the $$ (if any) of the service.
I could be off-base here, but I think you could achieve much the same thing by setting up Tor ...

Re: LT500 (Visible) - WAN Mode for Starlink Failover
I haven't started digging into the settings on how to make this happen yet, but wondering if anyone here has any experience with this?
I haven't, but watching with interest. I'd be interested in WISP failing over to mobile data if it turns out to be possible.

Would it help if the router were held upside down when you remove the card?Now I am afraid that if I try to remove it, it will fall out of the adapter....
