Re: LT500 wireless backhaul optimization
Yeah, my skills are somewhat limited when it comes to testing that. I though about look at ping times but that probably doesn't create enough load to show the difference. And with things like fully loaded speed tests, that is going to be subject to the wide variability of my LAN in a way that is ...

LT500 wireless backhaul optimization
I'm using the WISP feature in the LT500 to create a wireless bridge.
So the LT500 picks up my 5ghz wifi from the house, and then creates a wired network in the garage.
I don't really need to LT500 to create wifi in the garage. The only devices I have there are hard wired.
Can I improve the ...

Re: LT500 wireless bridge mode?
One more question occurs to me: If I am connecting to a WISP (ie, a source Wifi / WAN via Wifi in a sense) via the 5ghz antennas, should I turn off the 5ghz wifi on the LT500, so that it doesn't waste radio bandwidth trying to send out data on 5ghz? (I only need output from the LT500 via the ...

Re: LT500 wireless bridge mode?
To further clarify, using the MESH setup, and scanning for the wifi network I want to bridge, results in nothing being found. I don't consider that a bug or anything. I'm just pointing out that the one obvious thing to try didn't work.

LT500 wireless bridge mode?
I see that Cudy has had a "mesh" feature for a while now, that allegedly works with 'any' wifi system.
That's cool, but not quite what I am looking for.
I am trying to configure my LT500 as a wireless bridge.

Re: Askey ASK-NCQ1338 - Questions Regarding the Modem provided with Verizon Home LTE Service
Actually it's worse than I thought: The four LTE (fake 5G or at least "only C band 5G") attenas are what appear to be foil sheets soldered directly to the PCB. Those nice connectors pictured (antenna 6 and 8 in the photos) in a couple of the photos are for the WIFI antennas, not the cellular ones.

Great photos from the filings.
Looks like there are four internal antennas labeled “5G.”
But getting to them may be a bit of a challenge!
