Visible Disconnects after 1 minute
Hi, I've been having issues with Visible (with the new sim on base plan). I am using a raspberry pi 4 running goldenorb with TTL set to 89, with a pfsense router connected downstream. I currently use a Dell 5821e, however I have been having the same issue with my old Sierra Wireless 7455. After ...

Re: AT&T: Tower issues- Consistent 800ms+ Pings/Slow d/l-u/l. Possible Causes?
Hi! Let me preface this by saying I’m not extremely tech savvy, but I want to learn.
Have a wireless LTE internet modem/router directly from AT&T. I live in a very rural area that is serviced by AT&T who has a cell site in my town.
Roughly a week ago speeds tanked and will not get over 2/3 Mbps ...

Re: B41 channel when re-assigned to 5G
Depends what you are talking about. Changing channel width/adding channels does not change PLMN, unless T-Mo is moving spectrum from one network to another.joshhighley wrote: Tue Jun 08, 2021 12:24 pm When T-Mo re-assigns a band 41 channel for 5G, does the PLMN change for that channel?

Re: Signal Meters and/or Spectum Analyzers
One thing I don’t understand about LTE is can AT&T share the exact same frequency as say T-Mobile? For example they both have Band2(700MHz) do they have Carrier specific frequencies within that band? Not sure of the correct terminology, but I ask because the Wilson Pro-type meters let you select a ...

Re: STILL being throttled by Tmobile
@mtl26637 - You nailed it! Telnetted in to the modem, ran AT!GSTATUS?. and found that when on Band 12 I was being limited to 5mbps down. When on B2 +B12 CA, or even only on B2, I started getting 20mbps again. Thank you very much for the suggestion! Any idea why that particular band would throttle ...

Visible throttling even with TTL
Hi all, I have an EM7455 with generic firmware and a Raspberry Pi 4 running GoldenOrb. When I tether my Galaxy A10e with Visible to the pi with TTL 67, I get full uncapped speeds. This has worked for about half a year. Then, I tried switching over to my EM7455 with Visible, and with the same TTL ...

Fixed the issue. I used the Huawei Modem Terminal to connect to the modem at the COM port listed in the modem's properties in device manager.

Re: EM7455 No AT COM Port open?
Cellular internet works through the modem on Windows,
It works thru the network adapter in windows so look in your device manager for Remote NDIS, there should be a modem port also in the modems tab if there is and the driver is properly loaded then open it and go the diagnostics tab and ...

EM7455 No AT COM Port open?
Hi, I just bought a Dell branded EM7455 from eBay, and flashed the card with generic firmware. When I plug the modem inside a m.2 enclosure to my laptop, device manager only shows a DM and NMEA COM Port. Cellular internet works through the modem on Windows, but plugging it into my raspberry pi ...

Beginner build questions - Rpi 4 + DW 5821e
Hi, I am new to putting together LTE routers, and it would be helpful if I can get input on my current plans. I currently have an a10e with Visible tethered to a RPi 4 running OpenWRT, but the phone tethering is unstable (need airplane reset every few hours, need to reboot phone once in a while, etc ...
