Re: Help connecting wavefirm 4X4 MIMO Panel Antenna to 5G Modem
@Didneywhorl Okay thank you, I've seen a couple different ways of plugging it up so I got confused a little bit. One way was how you have it but antenna 2 and 4 were switched. I also saw 1:2 2:3 3:1 4:0, I was like which one do I do ha ha.

Help connecting Waveform 4X4 MIMO Panel Antenna to 5G Modem
Hello, been looking all over for an answer and haven't quite found a definitive one, I have a RM520N-GL in a usb enclosure and I want to plug it up to my Waveform 4x4 mimo panel antenna correctly. The Waveform has port 1 +45, port 2 -45, port 3 +45, and port 4 -45 I believe. The modem has 0,1,2, and ...

Isn't that a contract plan? How does that work with a router? Steps involved to get it working? I'm a big fan of prepaid because you don't have to pay each month. I think the magenta max only has 40Gb of data for the hotspot.

Re: Help needed with TheWirelessHaven store cart
I'm real confused now, what I've read is if the VSWR is too high it can damage the radio so you want it under two preferably, the higher VSWR you have the less return loss you get which from what I'm seeing that isn't good. So for the WH's antenna it could be considered poorly matched at n71 because ...

Re: Help needed with TheWirelessHaven store cart
The waveform antenna has better VSWR and about the same gain as WH's antennas from what I'm reading from that. I'd think with the higher VSWR the WH's antenna has then the extra db gain it has on the waveform in band 71 would be negated, right?

Okay I'll have a look at the cable to make sure, that's good to know thank you. VSWR on their antennas are about 1.6, I don't know the gain though. The 4x4 mimo panel had a spike on VSWR at n71 downlink and uplink which was I think 3.5-4.5 or something, what are your thoughts on that?

Need help setting up MTU and MSS on intsy Connect
I want to make sure my network interfaces are set up correctly. My current WAN (USB0) mtu after testing is 1428 and its also what the router set automatically. MTU Discovery is on and so is MSS Clamping (WAN and LAN). intsy Connect software looks very similar to OpenWRT so it should be a similar ...

Re: EM9191: SIM not inserted
@Didneywhorl
That's unfortunate, I don't have the link but it was a bundle and it had a router and modem inside the 4x4 mimo enclosure for about $1,200. There was also an option to get it built by the wireless haven so I was going to just get that so everything would be set up correctly.

@Didneywhorl Do you know when the 2x2 mimo High Beam antenna will be back in stock? Also, when will the outdoor antenna enclosure bundles come back in stock?

Okay thank you, I just wanted to ask because I've heard that if you only have the outdoors icon then you won't get service.

Good to know thank you. I'd have to see how to do it.
I looked on this map https://maps.t-mobile.com/pcc.html?map=mvno-roamd-5 band 71 and n71 have the Outdoors icon, what does that mean?

I don't remember where I saw it, what I do remember is mofi basically saying the EM9191 is the best.
Okay, I'll just pay extra for Wireless Haven to update the firmware.
I have no idea how to do any of this stuff so that tutorial would be a great help.

Re: EM9191: SIM not inserted
@Jflex113 That's pretty neat, thank you for letting me know, I guess the Em9191 is probably the best modem to go with. Is it still having a problem with newer firmware versions so you have to use an old one?

Never heard of doing it like that, that's interesting, I previously just put my old router on IP Passthrough. I appreciate the advice thank you.

Okay thank you, I'm guessing the NEXS2GO has a feature that I can use it with a Netduma R2 without causing a double NAT? I guess I'd plug it into the Netduma WAN port after I run it through the poe brick.

NEXP1GOs are incoming, but maybe two weeks or so out.
Everything else should be in stock.
What would be the next best option if I didn't want to wait? I want to plug the router into a Netduma R2 without getting a double NAT
I also have a question about the 5G USB adapter enclosure burning out ...

Today, I for cat18 in place of 5G and plug and play I would go with the new LT18 router: https://thewirelesshaven.com/lt18

If you want to build a unit that can later be upgraded to 5G then yeah I would say the same thing with the EM160R-GL instead ...

I am also on verizon in a very fringe area. No chance for coverage from anyone BUT verizon actually. The deprioritization issue is on the verizon side and I know no way around it other then getting a different plan with more "high speed" data.
Now as far as the basics on what to do....

Re: Need a modem for Verizon Jetpack pUDP
A mesh router would work, just make sure the router has a different IP address, so there's no IP conflicts.
As far as the cable in a window, thats up to creativity.

ATT not good out here and it typically has a strict nat when gaming, I'm in a rural area so speeds aren't great and signal is weak, but yes I believe ATT does have pretty good ping times.gscheb wrote: Sat Mar 26, 2022 9:00 pm Hello,

Choosing a router, modem, and antenna
I'm quickly trying to figure out what else to get because my mofi is on it's last legs. I'm a competitive halo infinite player on pc and I haven't been able to play with my team for league matches because of my setup barely hanging on. I want the modem and router together outside, no long LMR400 ...

Troubleshooting Mofi 4500 SIM4 signal
Hello all, I was looking at my mofi 4500 status page and saw some rather large numbers and I just wanted to check and see with you all if there is an issue with the device or maybe the yagi mimo antenna outside or the LMR400 cables. My latest speed test is 41ms ping 16.74mbps Down and 1.50mbps Up ...

Thank you Didneywhorl, yeah I was going to run the usb modem inside with a 10ft usb extension cable but if you think the WG3526-P would be okay and better outside in the The Wireless Haven enclosure that's cool too.
