The following command always produces an error. Probably because it is in use, is there a way to disable it?

Re: Looking For Tutoral On Setting Up My Quectel EM-12G Modem
Thanks for that
I am looking for what commands are required after a fresh start (oem state).
In the txt doc provided above, the IPV Modes section looks carrier specific.
Do I run all the commands starting with ...Set Connection Modes?

Re: Looking For Tutoral On Setting Up My Quectel EM-12G Modem
I am open to PagePlus (preferred) or SimpleMobile. I have all the router settings I need for those. What I am not sure about is what modem (at+commands) settings are needed to be addresses from a factory reset (for the Em-12g).

Page Plus account details
Hey All,
I just activated my sim card on PagePlus. It shows I have one payment history and no phone. That said, my phone is able to make calls and connect to cellular. Is that correct? What should the dashboard pages look like of my PP account?

Re: NEXR5GO EM12 about to be in my lake
Great writeup...
The following command always returns an error on the EM12. The rest of the contexts are fine, but #1 always returns an error.
AT+CGDCONT=1
Were any of you able to run this command?

Thank you very much, the additional doc adds clarity. I think I have enough understanding to start issuing AT commands... fingers crossed I have a working modem on the other side.

IMEI for my modem
When I set out to get a cellular router up and running, I had no idea what I was getting into. Now I am getting clarity on the process and the rabbit hole keeps going (and going and going). Today an new detail reared its ugly head. The issue of the IMEI number. I thought the IMEI came with the SIM ...

Thank you for the tip. The other post makes sense. To be clear, in order to get the "Deactivate" command to work, we need to set it, then toggle QMI to MBIM then back to QMI? With lots of modem reboots in between all the commands?

EP06 vs EM12 AT+Command mapping
Hey All,
I have a EP06 setup and am trying to get a EM12g working. Looking at the EP06 AT commands and the Quectel manual ( https://www.quectel.com/UploadImage/Downlad/Quectel_EM12&EG12&EG18_AT_Commands_Manual_V1.0.pdf ), some commands are not found :| . Specifically the commands below.

Re: Quectel - Programming Carrier Bands and Groups of Bands
@BillA,
Thanks for the info! You mentioned auto-scan, that seems a lot easier than using the specific band commands. The spreadsheet came up with the following commands:
Band 2 = AT+QCFG="band",0,2
Band 4 = AT+QCFG="band",0,8
Band 5 = AT+QCFG="band",0,10
Band 13 = AT+QCFG="band",0,1000

Re: Quectel - Programming Carrier Bands and Groups of Bands
Is there a list of all the AT commands needed to set up the EM12g? I am looking to set up a EM12 on PagePlus.
I looked at the spreadsheet posted above and decided quickly that I was in over my head. I do not want to brick the modem.
Aside from the full list of commands, which bands are required ...

Editing packets with OpenWrt
Is it possible to edit the outbound packet data going through a router running OpenWrt? My router is in the mail and I am coming up to speed on all this.
