What APN are you using? I think the default APN is "internet" which does not work. Try going to modem, connection properties if I recall correctly and set the APN to fast.t-mobile.com. Also make sure you set the TTL correctly and the TTL for IPV6. There are write ups on this forum on the TTL ...

It depends on your location, where I am at its a strong band and with the 7411, I'm seeing it carrier aggregate with Band 2 and 66 giving it quite a boost. I have noticed better tree/forest penetration on band 71 than band 12. Also I have found Band 12 to always be saturated due to the number of ...

I'm a heavy B71/N71 user here. I use a Quectel RM502Q. I'm in a rural area, and have it hooked up to boltons which are hard to align, but also tested it with yagi's and panels with similar results. I have it in a H71 router that I got on The Wireless Haven.

You can force any CA combination allowed by the modem (not all combos are supported), but may not be supported by the carrier at your location. One can ...

Your signal is good, but ouch, haven't seen band 71 on 5MHz in awhile. Where I'm at, its provisioned at 10Mhz offering more. I would do a band scan, and see what other bands are available. After that, I would build a router (or buy) with a 7411 in it so you can CA band 71 with one of the others.

Re: LTE Modem purchase Question
Yes I have both. If you don't need band 71 the 160 outperforms it. Especially when it aggregates band 2, 4 and 12 or band 2, 12 and 66. And because it can CA on UL it will match or beat 71. Where I'm at band 71 is great on UL so when the 7411 combines 66 and 71 is also awesome. But I wouldn't ...

Re: teknikal NEXQ6GO working now, wasn't, what should I do
I'm guessing that router has an EP06 in it because of the band support, specifically band 66 and that its listed at CAT6. There are many manufacturers reselling the 826 units, every one I got has worked with holding down the reset button, and then going into the boot menu to load WiFix.

Re: Would like some advice on a router build
I missed this, I run the EM160R-GL, used it on both ATT and TMo with solid results. On Tmo, it aggregating on Band66 makes up for the lack of 71 - but... the leaves haven't grown back in and thats when 71 saves the day...

I have the latest one with the protection circuit, been running it as my primary and it hasn't burned out yet. I got it from The Wireless Haven, will be posting a review once I get a second modem to work in it. I don't know what gen the ones on ebay are.

I ordered it, I plan to run it to one of the wan ports on my ubiquiti and keep rocking LTE as well. I'm all for redundancy. We will see how it fares reliability wise. I also ordered a RM500Q-GL for my tmobile router, with some boltons, let the speed tests begin....

Probably the reset button which wipes the APN settings. Did suresite give you an apn by chance?
Try fast.t-mobile.com
If that does not work try b2b.static as an apn.

Well WiFix supports anything the modem can see, its the EP06a that does not support 71. But you could try 2/4/66 and it may CA up that combo.

Re: MoFi sim7 vs WiFiX NEXQ6GO
The EP06 is going to bounce between bands 2, 4, 12 and 66 on tmo. If memory serves correct, band 12 on tmo is 10mhz wide, band 4/66 is 20mhz wide. Its possible its auto flipping and including band 2, which is I think (don't quote me) 5mhz wide on tmo?
So I would try excluding band 2 as a first ...

Re: IPv6 only setup help
IPV6 is a long way from maturity, I wrestled with this not too long ago and like baldwine said, using it exclusively causes loads of access issues. You can get static IPV4 IP from T-mobile, I use it everyday. You have to call it into support and its bloody painful. If you can't do so, hit up the ...

If its going into nwscan mode constantly, it means you have a weak signal, possible resolutions include but not limited to:
1. Need external antenna, or realignment, or 2nd antenna
2. Need an upgraded power supply, The Wireless Haven sells a 2.5w power supply that has solved my issues

So tested it again this morning, put a EC25AF in it, did some wonky Qualcom modem "connecting" then neither modem showed up and both disappeared with errors in the debug log of no modem. I recall reading somewhere that the Quectel EM160R which I have does not play well with certain modems. I don't ...

For the mofo sim4 , simply go to the advanced band lock screen and toggle the bands you want and save it.

Clean upgrade this time @Didneywhorl. It did say it needed the pw changed, took my old pw and I simply rekeyed in it and it was happy. I have noticed the latest builds of GO doing this. Modem connected fine this time, everything is clean. Time to install a second modem and SIM card.

Have you looked up your tower ID on cellmapper. I would check to see if you can use a directional antenna and line up a different tower.

Re: Antenna choices?
I would go with a 2xMIMO Panel, I use the ones that RSRF sells because they support Band 71. I like the panels because they are more forgiving when the leaves come in, and easier to aim than the yagis. I'm also a fan of the Bolton 26db parabolic, but it was a bit of a PITA to align, but its up there ...
