Is is it possible to have redudantcy with WE826-T2/Sierra Wireless MC7455?
Let's say I have a Nighthawk and a WE826. Is there anyway that I could use both of them into one router for redundancy? For instance use the NIghthawk as an internet source for the WE826 and if the Nighthawk service goes out then the WE826 service would kick in? Seems like I recall that the MoFi ...

Re: Better signal but horrible download speeds
This isn't making any sense. The other day when I was testing this I just turned if off and haven't touched it till just now again. I turned it on with the external antenna and today the signal is lower but the download speeds are higher. Can outside temps effect this antenna? The other day it warm ...

Re: Better signal but horrible download speeds
Yes, it was all the same. I literally was doing a speed test, unscrewing the external antenna and screwing it the 6 inch antennas and doing the speed test again and then reverse the process to confirm that it was an antenna issue.

Re: Better signal but horrible download speeds
What I don't understand is that it shows a much better signal it goes from -110 to around -90. But the downloads speeds drop from 20s or 30s to 1 to 3 mbs.

Ham radios are analog as well. It must be be because of the very high frequencies of LTE signals.

WE826-T2 with EM7565 slows down after a few days
I'm running a WE826-T2 with EM7565 flashed with the latest WIFIX using bootloader mode. What is odd is I get around 40-50 down. I've noticed that after a few days it will slow down to ~20 and slower. After I do a reboot it's back to 40-50 down and the cycle begins again. Has anyone else seen this ...

Bill is this the modem firmware or the WIFIX WE826 Rooter firmware? Is there a way I can "flash" my way out of it?BillA wrote: Tue Mar 24, 2020 9:36 pm What's happening is that the modem/network is not providing the correct location information to Windows for some reason, I'm sure they are working on fixing it.

This is what I would recommend.

Once it has updated, log into the router, and use the Web UI to update the router a second time with the WiFiX firmware.
So I did ...

Re: WiFi Dropping on WE826-T2 w/ Sierra Wireless MC7455
The speed difference may not have anything to do with the firmware update/reset, but after repowering the router it could have locked onto a different band/CA than before. You could try locking the band(s) to see if it helps. Also, the mobile network's performance can change dynamically throughout ...

Re: MoFi 4500 and AT&T
I just posted a similar question and didn't see this one. I saw the same results with the MOFI that I thought would be a better modem than the NIghthawk M1. The top speed I saw was 20 down if I was lucky where the M1 gets up to 70. What could I expect with a cat 12 modem?

MOFI 4500 vs Nighthawk M1 vs WE826-T2 with EM7565
I have a Nighthawk and I've seen it's max get about 70 down. I tried the MOFI 4500 and the BEST it could do was 20 down. Does a WE826-T2 with EM7565 get as fast or faster than the Nighthawk or does it not get any faster than the MOFI?
Thanks
